The Champlain Basin Bike Tour is a ~60 mile, point-to-point, supported tour organized by Lake Champlain International that will take you from Lake Champlain, the sixth largest freshwater lake in the United States, through several Vermont villages and along Champlain’s fish-filled tributaries and popular swimming holes, and get you started on your journey to the Top Of Vermont! After heading east deep into the Lake Champlain Basin, you’ll head south to Morrisville and west into Stowe where you’ll find yourself climbing along Lake Champlain’s cold, clean headwaters—this is where the lake starts.
Remember, Vermont isn’t Vegas: what happens upstream doesn’t stay upstream! Funds raised from the Champlain Basin Bike Tour will directly support Lake Champlain International’s year-round work to protect and restore the streams, rivers, and lakes, including Lake Champlain, of the Champlain Basin.
You can register for the Champlain Basin Bike Tour alone, or you can add it on to your North Face Race To The Top Of Vermont Registration.
Be a true Weekend Warrior by registering for both events and journey from the bottom of the watershed all the way to the top of the watershed on Mt Mansfield! In doing so you will be helping to protect and preserve some of Vermont’s most valuable recreational assets!
